Privacy policy

1. General provision

1.1. This Privacy Policy describes how site www.glassfix.lt (the “Site”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from www.glassfix.lt (the "Site") or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Site. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

1.2. These Rules have been prepared in accordance with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating the collection, processing, and storage of personal data.

1.3. According to these Rules, the data controller is UAB "Molibdenas" (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller). The Data Controller is responsible for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data in accordance with the procedures established by law.

2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

2.1. The Data Controller confirms that personal data is collected for direct trade and marketing purposes and processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, legality, accuracy, and respect for the individual's right to privacy.​

2.2. The Data Controller collects and automatically uses the personal data provided by the Registered Visitor during website registration only in the manner and for the direct marketing purposes specified in these Rules.​

2.3. During registration in the site, the Buyer must provide complete and accurate personal data. By registering, the Registered Visitor agrees that their provided data will be processed for the specified data collection and usage purposes. If the Registered Visitor objects, as outlined in clause 3.1 of these Rules, the Data Controller has no right to use this personal data (except for data storage).​

2.4. The Data Controller respects each Registered Visitor's right to privacy. The Buyer's personal data (name, surname, address, phone number, email address, and other information specified in the site registration form) is collected and processed to:​

2.4.1. process the Buyer's product orders;​ 

2.4.2. issue financial documents; 

2.4.3. resolve issues related to product delivery;​ 

2.4.4. for direct marketing purposes;​

2.4.5. fulfill other contractual obligations

2.5. The Data Controller may use data not directly related to the Registered Visitor's identity, such as information about purchased products, for statistical purposes. Such statistical data will be collected and processed in a way that does not disclose the Registered Visitor's identity or other personal data that could identify the individual.​

2.6. All information about processed personal data is confidential. UAB "Molibdenas" reserves the right to transfer information to third parties:​

2.6.1. to implement the purposes mentioned in clause 2.4 of this document;

2.6.2. as required by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.​

2.7. The Registered Visitor's personal data is stored no longer than required for the specified data processing purposes. After the data storage period expires, the Registered Visitor's personal data is destroyed in accordance with applicable legal acts.​

2.8. The Registered Visitor's personal data is processed using secure organizational and technical measures that protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, use, or any other unlawful processing.​

2.9. Payments in the online store are processed using the makecommerce.lt platform, managed by Maksekeskus AS (Niine 11, Tallinn 10414, Estonia, reg. no.:12268475). Therefore, your personal information, necessary for payment execution and confirmation, will be transferred to Maksekeskus AS.

3. Rights of the Registered Visitor

3.1. By registering on the Site, the Registered Visitor confirms their consent to the processing and use of their personal data in accordance with these Rules. A Registered Visitor who does not wish for their personal data to be processed and used for the specified purposes has the right to express their objection by informing the Data Controller via email at: info@glassfix.lt.​

3.2. Upon receiving the notification specified in clause 3.1 of these Rules, the Data Controller will cease the processing of personal data free of charge and inform the Registered Visitor as specified in clauses 5.1 and 5.2 of these Rules.​

3.3. The Registered Visitor has the right to modify and/or update the information provided in the registration form.​

3.4. The Registered Visitor has the right to access the actions taken related to the processing of their personal data.​

3.5. The Registered Visitor has the right to request the correction, destruction, or suspension of the processing (excluding storage) of their personal data if, upon reviewing their personal data, they determine that the data is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate, by contacting the Data Controller as specified in clause 5.1 of these Rules.

4. Amendment of the Rules

4.1. The Data Controller has the right to partially or fully amend these Rules by announcing such changes on the Site. ​

4.2. Additions or amendments to the Rules come into effect on the day they are published on the Site.​

4.3. If the Registered Visitor disagrees with the amendments or additions to the Rules, they have the right to express their disagreement regarding the amended or supplemented Rules and the purposes related to the processing of their personal data, by expressing their disagreement in the manner specified in clause 5.1 of these Rules. If no disagreement is received from the Registered Visitor, it is considered that the Registered Visitor agrees with the new version of the Rules.​

5. Final Provisions

5.1. All notifications related to the processing of personal data must be submitted to the Data Controller via email at info@glassfix.lt.​

5.2. The Data Controller will respond in the same form in which the notification was received from the Registered Visitor, no later than 20 working days from the date of receipt of the individual's inquiry document.​
